Walrussen - Walrus

Ja hoor daar zijn ze nog een keer, ook nu weer op het DSP, alleen heb ik deze keer de hartjes uit het dsp gestanst, waardoor je de achterliggende laag ziet verschijnen. En vermits ik nog een hartje over had van de vorige kaart, heb ik deze in het midden verhoogd opgeleefd. De walrussen zijn slechts in het midden verhoogd, zo krijgen ze ook wat dimensie.

 Yes, they are here again, this time again on the DSP, but I cut out the hearts in the DSP, so you see the layer that is behind it. And as I had a heart from the previous cut I put that in the middle a bit higher. The walrus has only a dimension in the middle to give them dimension.

Ijsvogel 2 - Kingfisher 2

Ja hoor hier is er nog eentje met de ijsvogel. Deze keer vliegt hij in een andere richting, en heb ik een andere tekst gebruikt. Het is zo mooi. Ook deze keer ingekleurd met Derwent potloden.

 Yes again a kingfisher, this time he is flying in a different direction and I used a different text which I adore. And of course it is again colored with Derwent pencils.

Elke donderdag kerst - Each Thursday Christmas (Week 17)

En hier dan nog eentje met de bomen en de ronde takjes, deze keer met een tekst die je zeker rond kerst of nieuwjaar kan gebruiken. Deze keer op een witte achtergrond, geeft net weer een ander beeld.

 And another one with the trees and branches. This time with the big text which can be used as Christmas but also as New Years card. This time the background is white, so you have a different view.

Liefde voor elkaar - love for each other

Ja hoor hier is er weer eentje met deze mooie diertjes, deze keer heb ik gebruik gemaakt van het mooie DSP uit de nieuwe catalogus. En een paar hartjes uitgestanst deze keer en boven hun hoofd geplaatst. Weer anders dan de vorige kaart, maar toch even lief. Even een tekst erbij, die doe ik dan aan de binnenzijde.

 And again a card with these lovely animals, this time I put them on cute DSP also from the newest catalogue. This time with a few hearts which I cut out and put above their head. A bit different as the previous card but again sweet. No text this time, I will put that inside.

Potjes hyacinten - Pots with hyacinths.

Ik ben tegenwoordig in de stemming voor het kleuren met potloden. Zo kleurde ik deze hyacinten en gebruikt daar ook de opzet van een tafelkleedje met drie potjes voor. De potjes zijn koffiemokjes zonder oortjes. Ik heb de koffie een stukje weggesneden en dan in die uitsnede heb ik de hyacint bolletjes gestopt. Ik ben heel tevreden met deze uitwerking. Geeft mij echt een lentegevoel. De tekst komt uit de nieuwe Nederlandse set Lichtpuntjes en liefde.

 I am really in the mood of coloring with pencils. So I colored the hyacinths and used some DSP as tablecloth and three pots on it, those are coffeemugs but I cut off the ears. And the coffee is taken away a bit so I could slide in the bulbs. I am really pleased how they turned out. It gives me a spring feeling.

Koffie - coffee

Een tijdje terug volgde ik de live sessie van Yvonne Spikmans, thecreativeteacup en zij ging ook aan de slag met de latte love set. Ik maakte tijdens die sessie ook een kaartje, een iets eenvoudigere versie, en ondertussen is deze reeds bij mijn pennenvriendin in Canada. Ik vind deze set echt leuk voor koffieliefhebbers.

 A while ago I followed a session of thecreativeteacup, she was working with the Latte love set and I adore it too. I made a card during that session too. Meanwhile the card already arrived at my friends place in Canada. Really a good set for coffee lovers.

Ijsvogel - Kingfisher

Ik geniet ook heel vaak van het kleuren met potloden, deze keer Derwent chromaflow en lightfast. Gewoon gaan zitten, even gedachten op nul en kleuren van liefst een zo realistisch mogelijke stempel. Dus deze keer de ijsvogel, uit een serie die ontworpen is door Ilse Hoekstra. Ze zijn zo mooi.

 I enjoy coloring with my pencils, this time Derwent chromaflow and lightfast. It just gives me the rest I need sometimes, you can only think of coloring and forget everything. And mainly I love it when coloring a realistic stamp, so this time I did the kingfisher, a nice stamp which is developed by Ilse Hoekstra. I love the bird.
